    Are you passionate about working on the land? If you're an ambitious member of the agriculture industry and looking to broaden your horizons, you’re in the right place.

    The Farmers Association Agriculture and Wool Classing Scholarship encourages professional working relationships between students and employers. It supports you to use your skills and knowledge in the local community to enhance the agriculture industry. In 2024, two scholarships worth $500 each will be available to support TAFE NSW Goulburn students.

    Who can apply?

    To be eligible for a Farmers Association Agriculture and Wool Classing Scholarship, you must:

    • reside in NSW and be a current student at TAFE NSW Goulburn
    • have agriculture or wool classing study and career goals and show commitment to achieving these
    • have a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification or Higher School Certificate (HSC) and be enrolled in either the Certificate III in Agriculture (AHC30122) or the Certificate IV in Wool Classing (AHC41316) over a one-to-two-year period
    • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
    • Provide a 300-500 word statement outlining the following:
      • Your involvement in agriculture or wool classing within the community. This can be work placement, traineeships, apprenticeships or volunteer work undertaken as part of study
      • How the scholarship will assist you in reaching your study or career goals
    • not have received a scholarship from TAFE NSW for one year before 28 March 2024.
