Open doors to a new life

    Kay Peno

The Kay Peno Encouragement Award has been established in memory of long-term Hunter TAFE Foundation Board Director, Kay Peno. Kay’s passion to help learners realise their potential through education and support led her to join the Foundation in 2008. Kay brought strong educational links from her role as the Director with the NSW Department of Education from 2007 to 2016, supporting both Schools and Principals across the Lake Macquarie area.

This $1,000 scholarship supports TAFE NSW students in their educational journey, with a special focus on encouraging young women to take on leadership roles in the workforce.

Applications for the Kay Peno Encouragement Award close at 5 pm (AEDT) Friday 4 April 2025.
