    How we manage tenders

TAFE NSW uses the SAP Ariba platform to streamline transactions and manage tenders efficiently. This ensures smooth communication and faster processing.

We assess tenders based on value for money, considering both price and non-price factors. The lowest bid isn’t always selected, so it’s important to review the tender documents carefully and address all criteria.

For clarification of this criteria, contact the Sourcing Event Manager in writing. Their details are usually included in the tender documents or on the SAP Ariba platform. If you can’t find them, you can email the TAFE NSW Procurement Team.

    Insurance and compliance

Given the diversity of our procurement profile, our insurance and compliance requirements vary based on the goods and services we’re purchasing. The specific details of these requirements are provided in the procurement documents.

Suppliers should seek clarification from the Sourcing Event Manager if unsure about the details.

    Transparent procurement and feedback

TAFE NSW is committed to fair and transparent procurement. We follow the Enforceable Procurement Provisions (EPP). These procurement provisions are part of international trade agreements and apply to government agencies in NSW.

We are happy to provide feedback to suppliers who are unsuccessful in their tender submission for continuous improvement. While we can't disclose details about other submissions, our feedback focuses on how your bid performed against the evaluation criteria.

We value open communication with suppliers and welcome feedback to continually improve our processes.

If you would like to provide feedback or make a compliant, please contact the Director of Procurement at TAFE NSW.
