    About us

We’re big on community. One of our favourite partnerships is with ErinEarth, a community garden group that teaches children about gardening and the environment. The children learn about nature in a fun and engaging way looking after our veggie garden and worm farm.

Being part of the TAFE NSW community is another big plus. Every fortnight, the children head to the TAFE library for story time and we welcome Early Childhood Education students for practical learning, giving them real-world experience while they interact with your child.

Our family grouping approach means siblings stay together, creating a warm, familiar space that bigger centres just don’t offer. Most of the day is spent as one big family, but in the afternoons, our preschoolers have special learning time to help them get ready for school while the younger children rest.

    A typical day

    Bright beginnings

Each day begins with a warm welcome as parents sign in and settle their children. Children dive straight into play, choosing from cosy indoor activities like the wellbeing room with yoga mats and sensory tools or themed dramatic play areas – one day a Chinese New Year-inspired kitchen, the next an art studio.

    Ready, set, play!

Music, movement and stories bring everyone together before outdoor adventures begin. Under the big shady tree, children explore natural gardens, splash in water play and conquer obstacle courses. There’s a cubbyhouse, a mini shop for role-playing and plenty of space to run, climb and imagine.

    Fuelling fun and friendships

Meals are shared as a community, building friendships and routines. In the afternoon, younger children take a restful break, while preschoolers participate in enjoyable, structured learning activities. These activities are designed to ignite their curiosity and build confidence as they prepare for school.

    Getting started

Our warm, personal enrolment process helps families feel at home from the start. Parents can call on 02 7921 6725, email or drop by. It all begins with a simple Application for Care Form.

When a spot opens, we invite families in to the centre to complete enrolment together. Parents can bring their child to explore, play and become familiar with the space while they fill out the mandatory forms and paperwork. Seeing their parents at ease with staff helps children feel safe, making their first day smoother.

We offer a Family Handbook along with visual guides like educator photos and a handy checklist to help families feel prepared. These resources are especially useful for families who speak languages other than English at home. We take the time to learn about each child’s routine and their comfort items to ensure the best care from day one.

For many families, this personal touch means everything. Some plan to enrol one child but, after experiencing our warm environment, choose to enrol all – even moving from other centres. Seeing our centre in action reassures them their child or children will be happy, safe and well cared for.

    Documents needed

To submit your application, you will need to provide:

    • Birth certificate
    • Medicare card
    • Health care/Pension card (if you have one)
    • Immunisation record (must be through Medicare, blue books are not accepted).

Please note: Children must meet government immunisation requirements or have an approved exemption to be eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

    How to enrol

There are five steps to complete enrolment:

    1. Apply for Child Care Subsidy (if eligible) – To be confirmed between the Early Childhood Director (ECD) and parents/guardians.
    2. Agree on care arrangements – The ECD and parent/guardian confirm the child’s care details.
    3. Submit enrolment – The ECD submits an enrolment notice to Centrelink via HubHello.
    4. Confirm enrolment – The parents/guardians verify the enrolment with Centrelink.
    5. Secure enrolment –  If you accept an offer, we’ll send a formal letter detailing the next steps. This includes submitting a birth certificate, proof of immunisation and a security deposit to secure your childcare placement.

Once the enrolment is completed and approved your entitlements can be calculated, and payments made. If there are no vacancies, we can add you to the waiting list.

Under Family Assistance Law, all children attending an early learning centre must have an enrolment notice, regardless of CCS eligibility. For eligible families, Centrelink/Services Australia can only process CCS claims once the correct enrolment is in place.
