During this course you'll learn to:
Develop an understanding of HSC advanced mathematical skills and knowledge, which can be applied to your further studies or employment
Use algebra, equations, trigonometry and logarithmic functions and limit
You'll leave this course with:
A Higher School Certificate (HSC) 2 unit advanced mathematics qualification
Pathways to further study such as mathematics, science or engineering degrees
Academic skills to serve you in your future endeavours
Prepare for an assessment or further study
Some courses require evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
The ability to provide evidence of your Record of School Achievement (ROSA) for year 10 or equivalent or
A sign out letter from school if you are leaving school mid-year
During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
Pursuing further study in science, mathematics or engineering.
To be prepared for this course, we recommend you have:
HSC Standard Mathematics or equivalent knowledge and require a bridging course to upgrade your skills
to Advanced level
Diligence to self focus and work independently
Willingness to attend classes and complete all assessment work
Good time management skills
Willingness to interact with your teacher to actively participate in a connected virtual delivery setting
Access to the internet and computer
