During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
A general construction induction card (commonly known as a white card) – you will need this before you can enter a construction site. This can be gained during the course or at TAFE NSW campuses that offer this service with an accredited WorkCover assessor.
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
Moderate computer skills to work with complex software and spreadsheets
Good communication skills
An eye for detail
A budget of approximately $325 to supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Access to a computer or laptop to complete study at home
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 12 high school level
