Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.
Knowledge assessments: short answer, extended response, multiple-choice questions, closed book exams with Safe Work NSW
Practical skills assessments: demonstrations under observation
Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.
There is no work placement for this qualification.
To complete this course, the following materials are required:
Hi vis PPE, Protective foot wear, Hard hat, Scaffold key (box spanner), Podger hammer, Torpedo spirit level, Retractable tape measure and Scaffold belt with frogs and holders for the above at an estimated cost $350

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Statement of Attainment in Licence to Erect, Alter and Dismantle Scaffolding - Basic Level qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 1 units of competency, including 1 core and 0 speciality units.
