Nepean - Kingswood
TAFE NSW Nepean – Kingswood is situated on the traditional lands of the Dharug People.
Kingswood, 52 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD, is one of the oldest suburbs in the Penrith local government area. With the Nepean Clinical School, a network of teaching hospitals centred in the Nepean Hospital precinct at Kingswood, and Western Sydney University’s Kingswood campus, it is an academically rich suburb.
TAFE NSW Nepean has two locations—Penrith and Kingswood offering hundreds of on-campus courses. The extensive and service-rich Kingswood campus works closely with community and industry. Having some of the best new and emerging technology ensures that you will train in the best industry-standard facilities.
At the Kingswood campus you’ll find the Institute of Applied Technology, Construction. There’s also a well-resourced arts and design Centre of Excellence, including studios and an exhibition space. The campus is popular for its simulated hotel services training as well as its purpose-built visual merchandising workshop.
Public facing facilities include ‘Entrée’, an operational training restaurant, a hairdressing and beauty training academy, and an auditorium and conference room. Appropriate to the Kingswood area as a major medical precinct, our health and support services facilities include those for dental training, optical testing, sterilisation services and simulated hospital nursing labs. There is also a dedicated Aboriginal education and training unit at the TAFE NSW Kingswood campus.
