Blue Mountains - Katoomba
The TAFE NSW Katoomba campus is situated on the traditional lands or Ngurra (meaning Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples.
Katoomba is the largest of several villages within the Blue Mountains local government area, which together comprise a city within the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The broader area west of Sydney consists of a million hectares of sandstone plateaux, escarpments and gorges dominated by temperate eucalypt forest. The area is renowned for its biodiversity, Aboriginal significance, and stunning landscapes.
The Katoomba campus is located in the Katoomba town centre and close to the Katoomba railway station. On campus you will find an industry-standard training salon in our beauty training academy and a massage training clinic. Other on campus courses include those for qualifications in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural arts, and in design fundamentals.
