Western Connect
Western Connect provides the communities in Western NSW access to a large range of state-wide training opportunities direct from a local TAFE NSW campus or from home.
Classes for Western Connect courses are mostly delivered online, with web and video conferencing technology to connect you with your teacher and other students. Connected learning means you can attend your online classes from home or log in from a campus.
Some courses may require you to attend classes on campus and online with blended learning, while mobile training units bring your teacher and training equipment to your nearest campus for convenience when you need to undertake physical training and assessments.
Western Connect courses utilise a range of technology and mobile delivery options for students to access training via:
Blended learning | Study combines workshops, online and web/video conferencing |
Connected learning on campus | Connected learning enables you to attend your nearest TAFE NSW campus to participate in scheduled video conference classes with your teacher and other students located around the state. |
Mobile training units | Mobile training units can be mobilised across any of the TAFE NSW locations in Western NSW, and enable you to access teachers and specialised equipment and resources required on training days. |
