Young
TAFE NSW Young sits on the land of the Wiradjuri people.
The campus is located next to the picturesque Carrington Park in the historic gold rush town of Young. Known as the ‘cherry capital of Australia,’ Young is surrounded by orchards, vineyards and olive groves.
TAFE NSW Young has been providing training to the community and surrounding districts since 1941. It offers state-of-the-art training facilities including student computer labs, the hair and beauty training academy and electrical, welding and metal fabrication workshops. It’s also home to a Connected Learning Centre (CLC) that gives access to simulated work environments and virtual reality experiences. This means that students don’t have to leave their local community to receive the training needed to get ahead in their chosen career.
The campus offers courses in a wide range of areas including agriculture, hospitality, community and youth services and healthcare. Choose from short courses all the way up to Advanced Diploma level courses in a variety of subject areas. With flexible learning options, students can study in-person or online to suit their lifestyle.
