TAFE NSW Ballina sits on the land of the Bundjalung people. It’s located in the heart of the Northern Rivers region. The area is brimming with things to do on land and in the sea, and is renowned for its quality beaches. The township of Ballina is an expanding regional centre, located at the entrance to the Richmond River.
Our innovative campus is home to a state-of-the-art maritime section with simulated training equipment and an operational boat for practical lessons. We have specialised learning environments for nursing, retail and business. There are also training programs for general education, information technology and welfare.
Our campus is a warm welcoming place to study and is conveniently located. We are a close-knit community of friendly teachers, supportive staff and have a large multicultural population of students. Ballina campus is a place where students are able to meet, talk, work together and immerse themselves in an academic environment full of limitless possibilities.
