Wollongong
Meaning ‘Sound of the Sea’ in the Dharawal Aboriginal Language, Wollongong is the gateway to the South Coast of NSW. We pay our respects to the Dharawal people, the traditional custodians of the land on which TAFE NSW Wollongong sits.
Our Wollongong campus is just minutes away from the vibrant city centre and sits alongside the University of Wollongong's bustling main campus. With coastal charm and the buzz of eateries, shopping, and entertainment, you'll find the perfect balance of socialising, study and serenity.
Immersed in community involvement, we've established partnerships with the University of Wollongong, Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts, and Keira High School. Our 300-seat auditorium hosts cultural events, while our weekly children's playgroup offers a nurturing environment for young learners. With two expansive playing fields hosting Tech Waratahs and Illawarra Steelers, we're a hub for sports enthusiasts. Or maybe you’re a tech pioneer? As the proud home of the first Lego community robotics hub, we're at the forefront of innovation and collaboration.
TAFE NSW Wollongong offers a dynamic array of skills areas, tailored to ignite your passions and propel you towards success. From community services and nursing to baking and business, we offer diverse courses to empower your learning journey. Whether you're delving into creativity or mastering technical skills, we're here to guide you every step of the way!
