    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • Current employment in the supply chain or logistics industry

    • or

    • Successful completion of either the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations or Certificate IV in International Freight Forwarding

    • or

    • A diploma or higher qualification in a non-logistics related area, plus extensive logistics industry experience (for example, in warehousing/distribution centres, transport, purchasing/procurement, or customs broking).

    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • Experience in supply chain operations or logistics, or a certificate III or IV qualification in supply chain operations

    • A keen interest in both operations and people management

    • Strong leadership skills

    • Effective communication skills

    • Good digital literacy

    • Confident judgement and decision-making skills

    UnitsUnits taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Logistics qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 units of competency, including 2 core and 13 speciality units.

    Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
