    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • A minimum English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent across the four macro skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing

    • Interest in studying a higher education diploma or degree

    • A desire to understand the expectations and culture of academic life in Australia

    • TAFE NSW may ask you to complete an English Language proficiency test so that you can be placed into the appropriate class
