All new entrants to the real estate industry need to hold a Certificate of Registration before they are able to work in the industry. A Certificate of Registration enables you to assist with conducting real estate sales or providing property management services in NSW. Certificates of Registration are issued by NSW Fair Trading. Your teacher will also be able to provide you with additional information during your studies.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Real Estate Practice qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 14 units of competency, including 5 core and 9 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
