120 hours of work placement with a suitable industry employer

During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
A National Police Check (NPC)
An NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
Vaccinations which can include COVID, hepatitis A and B and influenza
A Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Any additional evidence your work placement provider requires
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

Collaboration and teamwork skills
A reasonable level of fitness to carry out manual handling and first aid
Basic computer skills

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 units of competency, including 9 core and 6 speciality units.
