There are no entry requirements if you are attending this class on campus. However, if you're studying remotely, you will require access to an industry-realistic work environment to demonstrate your practical skills. This will be evidenced by a video submission prior to course start. Your teacher will send you a list of required activities to perform upon enrolment.

To be nominated as a food safety supervisor in a food service business in NSW, you must hold a current NSW Food Authority Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certificate. This provides evidence that you have achieved competency in nationally accredited units of competency and NSW-specific key focus areas. This certificate lasts 5 years, after which you must complete a re-certification course, redo the whole FSS course, or let their qualification lapse.
