Our graduates go onto roles like: electrical supervisor and grid connected battery storage systems designer and installer.
You need to hold an Unrestricted Electricians Licence, or its equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory, in order to apply for jobs in the industry. Successful completion of the Statement of Attainment in Grid-connected Battery Storage Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set, will mean you are eligible to apply for recognition of your skills to Solar Accreditation Australia. This will mean you can participate in the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. Registering ensures you meet industry standards, which is essential for issuing Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs). STCs provide financial benefits to the public by offering incentives through the Australian Government's renewable energy schemes reducing the cost of installing solar systems. Visit the Solar Accreditation Australia, website for more information on accreditation.
