Managing Director - Mr Stephen Brady

    Stephen Brady joined TAFE NSW as Managing Director in December 2021. He has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership across the private and public sectors.

    Throughout his career he has gained valuable expertise from working with a diverse range of NSW government agencies. Prior to joining TAFE NSW, Stephen held Deputy Secretary roles in NSW Treasury, the Department of Premier and Cabinet and Revenue NSW. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the NSW Department of Customer Service.

    Stephen’s senior executive career highlights include:

    • strengthening the economic impact of public agencies
    • delivering sound financial management.

    As Managing Director, Stephen plays a key role in ensuring that TAFE NSW remains one of Australia’s leading providers of vocational education and training.

    By working collaboratively with staff, industry partners and the broader community, he helps guide the organisation to meet the evolving needs of learners and the workforce in a rapidly changing economy.
