University to TAFE NSW
Improve your prospects, help your career
Did you know that more than 50,000 university graduates enrol at TAFE NSW each year? Some university students even choose to transfer into a TAFE Degree instead of completing their university degree. That’s because a TAFE NSW course allows you to develop valuable practical skills that employers are looking for.
Our selection of qualifications, ranging from Certificate, Diploma and Degree courses, to short professional-development courses, can also improve job prospects, help in a career change, or assist in securing a promotion.

Credit for university studies
TAFE NSW has Credit Transfer arrangements in place with a number of universities and higher education providers, both in NSW and interstate which you may be eligible to receive.
In cases where your previous learning at university is not covered by a formal credit arrangement, you may still be able to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Help with fees
If you choose to enrol in our higher qualifications (i.e. Diploma or above), you may be eligible for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan or FEE-HELP Loan to cover the cost of some or all of your tuition fees.
