The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program offers free training in reading, writing, English, maths and digital skills to enhance employment prospects. The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
To be eligible for the SEE Program, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent visa holder, on a provisional or temporary visa with working rights and eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program or a Pacific Australian Labour Mobility visa holder, and be aged over 15 years and left school, and need help with your reading, writing, maths, English language or digital skills.
The SEE Program offers tailored training that focuses on developing reading, writing, maths, English and digital skills. Training is customised to meet your individual needs and can include practical skills for the workplace, digital literacy, and support for gaining qualifications or certificates.
The duration of the SEE Program varies based on your needs and goals. You can stay in the program for up to 2 years. The training scheduled is flexible, allowing you to balance your studies with other commitments. You can start at your own level, learn at your own pace, and choose training based on your needs and goals. You can learn in the classroom, in the workplace or remotely (through Distance Learning).
