Before you enrol in a course at the Australian Patisserie Academy, please read our terms and conditions carefully.

    These outline important details, like:

    • registration

    • payment and refunds

    • course cancellation policies

    • student rights and responsibilities.

By enrolling, you agree to these terms.

The Australian Patisserie Academy, as part of TAFE NSW, follows the policies and procedures set by the organisation. This ensures a fair and consistent experience for all students.

    Enrolment and payment

    Securing your place

Registering your interest for a course does not provide you with a place in class. Enrolments can only be finalised and confirmed once the full payment has been received.

    International student requirements

International students, Australian temporary visa holders or permanent humanitarian visa holders must provide a copy of their e-Visa, or Subclass 500 Student Visa. You can find out more information on our Student Visa information page.

    Payment process and confirmation

Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation of enrolment. You will receive an email 5 days before the course starts, containing all relevant details about your class.

To secure your place, please ensure:

    • full payment is made before the course begins

    • your contact details are up to date, as confirmation emails and important information will be sent via email.

If the payment is not received on time, your enrolment may be cancelled.

    Course cancellations by the Academy

In some cases, the Academy may need to cancel a course due to low enrolments or other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will receive a full refund.

    Accepted payment methods

Payments can be made online using:

    • VISA, or

    • Mastercard.

    Refunds and cancellations

    Refunds

If the Australian Patisserie Academy cancels your course, you are entitled to a full refund.

    Refunds due to illness

We understand that unexpected illness can prevent you from attending your course. If you are unable to attend due to illness, you may be eligible for a refund provided you submit a valid medical certificate.

Eligibility for refunds depends on when the request is made.

    Short course

If you are unable to attend a 1 day – 1 week short course due to illness:

    • you must provide a medical certificate

    • the refund request must be made less than 5 business days before the course starts.

    Late arrivals

If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the start, you may not be able to join the class, and your enrolment will be forfeited.

    Cancellations

If you need to cancel your enrolment after payment, you must notify us in writing at least 5 business days before the start of your course to receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 5 business days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund.

Note: refunds will be processed to the original payment method only.

If you need to withdraw from your course, send us an email and one of our team members can help you.
