    Pathways to Employment Program

    If you’re in the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) then you can enrol in the Pathways to Employment Program (PEP) for help with critical skills needed to find work in Australia. The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs.

    What does the PEP involve?

    The PEP combines English language training with practical employment-focused activities, such as workplace communication skills, job application techniques, resume writing and interview preparation. You’ll also gain insights into Australian workplace culture. The program may also include work experience placements.

    Who is this course for?

    The Pathways to Employment Program (PEP) is for Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) students who:

    • Can commit to a full-time PEP course
    • Are ready to work or undertake further study
    • Are willing to participate in a 40-hour work placement.

    If you have children who are too young for school, free childcare can be provided.
