NSW Aboriginal Housing Office Accommodation Grant

The NSW Government Aboriginal Housing Office is offering Tertiary Accommodation Grants to eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in full time studies with TAFE NSW. This program supports eligible students with a grant of up to $10,000 to offset the cost of living whilst studying.

The grants will support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students experiencing the impact of housing stress on their ability to study. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a diploma, advanced diploma, degree or IPROWD and demonstrate that they are in financial hardship.

Closing date: 5pm Tuesday, 31 August 2021

Student must be:

  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • Over 16 years of age
  • Enrolled full time in IPROWD, or a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree at TAFE NSW
  • Able to demonstrate they are a social housing tenant or experiencing housing stress (housing stress is defined as an individual spending more than 40% of weekly income on housing).
