Further your studies with extra funds

Inside a brightly lit workshop, a male engineering student wearing safety glasses focuses intently on a project, using tools and equipment under the watchful eye of their instructor. In the background, several other students work diligently on their own individual engineering projects.

Scholarships offer an incredible source of financial support for students. Unlike loans, a TAFE NSW scholarship doesn’t need to be paid back. It can help reduce student debt, study costs and stress, so you can focus on what matters.

The Neville Sawyer Scholarship was established in 2007. It is valued at $5,000 and awarded to one student from TAFE NSW in the Hunter Region or Central Coast every year. The scholarship levels up the educational playing field for a final year graduate or postgraduate student studying engineering, information technology, laboratory science or project management. You can also apply if you’re currently enrolled or intending to undertake further studies in a business-related course at TAFE NSW.

Applications for a Neville Sawyer Scholarship is now closed.
