    Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

    • Work safely in a science learning environment

    • Conduct experiments on matter, electricity, introductory chemistry

    • Conduct experiments into scientific aspects of workplace health

    • A nationally accredited Statement of Attainment

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • A teacher will contact you to make sure this is the right course for you. They may ask you to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) profile so that you can be placed into the right class and so that you can access appropriate support if needed.

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • A desire to pursue further study or vocational training

    • A desire to join the Australian Defence Force (Army, Navy, Air Force and the Reserves)

    • The need for formal science study skills at Year 10 equivalent level to meet the expectations of Defence Force Recruiting

    • Visited the Australian Defence Force recruiting to discuss your potential for entering the Defence Forces
