To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
An interest in learning CPR
A desire to improve other people's health outcomes
The physical ability to kneel on the floor to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR (5 cycles) on an adult manikin. This is required for you to fulfill the course requirements in line with First Aid codes of practice, state and territory regulations and First Aid guidelines outlined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). If you cannot perform or complete this competency, you will receive a Certificate of Participation and not a nationally recognised certification.
