    The Course in Initial EAL will introduce you to the English alphabet, as well as our number and money systems. Learn the sounds of letters and recognise numbers from 1-50. This is the ideal course if you have had little or no schooling.

    Learning outcomes

    Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

    • Recognise letters of the alphabet and their sounds

    • Recognise numbers from 1-50

    • Use common digital devices such as laptops, computers and mobile phones

    • Share simple personal details verbally and in writing

    • Understand how to behave in an Australian classroom
