The Course in Initial EAL will introduce you to the English alphabet, as well as our number and money systems. Learn the sounds of letters and recognise numbers from 1-50. This is the ideal course if you have had little or no schooling.
Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Recognise letters of the alphabet and their sounds
Recognise numbers from 1-50
Use common digital devices such as laptops, computers and mobile phones
Share simple personal details verbally and in writing
Understand how to behave in an Australian classroom
Gain practical experience and develop specialist skills that give you an advantage in the job market.
A nationally accredited Statement of Attainment
