Some courses require evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
If you are a new licensee you will need to ensure you have completed an RSA course and obtained your RSA competency before you undertake your required licensee training.
Completing licensee training will automatically renew your existing RSA competency, however, it does not automatically renew your RCG competency.
If you have an existing RCG qualification, you must have completed the Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) refresher with Liquor and Gaming NSW less than 90 days prior to completing this course.

Experience working in a supervisory role in the hospitality or liquor industries
A lifestyle comfortable with working weekends and late nights
Responsible work ethics
Reached at least 17 years of age so you are able to work in the industry serving alcohol at the completion of your course after you turn 18

TAFE NSW is approved by Liquor and Gaming NSW to deliver RSA, RCG, ARCG and Licensee/Advanced Licensee courses. A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is the foundational competency required in order to sell, serve or supply liquor. Depending on your duties you may also need Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG). You can also choose to surrender the RCG endorsement using the RCG Surrender Form. Take the completed form when enrolling in Licensee training with an approved training provider. The NSW Liquor Licensee Course is an additional requirement for all licensees, approved managers and club secretaries. Upon completion of this course, you will be eligible to apply for a Liquor License in New South Wales. ##Recognition of NSW RSA and RCG competency in other jurisdictions:## Legislative requirements differ across borders. Check with the relevant state or territory authority to see if your NSW RSA and RCG competency is recognised.
The TAFE Statement in NSW Liquor Licensee Course does not have any courses.
