To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
An interest in agriculture, horticulture or land management
The ability to work outdoors in varied climatic conditions
A safety-first attitude and a keen eye for detail
Reached 16 years of age to meet tractor manufacturer's recommendations
Suitable protective clothing to work outdoors including a broad-brimmed hat, long sleeved cotton shirt and covered leather work boots
The ability to maintain focus and concentration over a long period
