Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Work safely while trimming and cross-cutting felled trees or logs
Correctly identify and control unsafe situations
Apply appropriate cuts, such as ripping cuts and bore cuts to logs for a pre-determined outcome
Maintain chainsaws and chains in good working condition
