    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • Current enrolment or completion of the Certificate IV in Interior Decoration as evidenced by a copy of your transcript, certificate or enrolment letter, or

    • Current enrolment or completion of the following units of competency: CUADES302, CUADES303, MSFID4016 and MSFID5018. This can be evidenced by a copy of your transcript, certificate or enrolment letter.

    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • A strong interest in interior design

    • Digital literacy and access to a computer and reliable internet connection

    • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level

    UnitsUnits taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Interior Design qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 27 units of competency, including 10 core and 17 speciality units.

    Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
