To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level
The ability to work in different environments, including on and off-site, outdoors, indoors, confined spaces and high-temperature environments
Intermediate-level fitness to manage the physical demands of the role
An interest in mechanical principles and concepts
An enthusiasm for practical skills in mechanical trades, fitting and machining

UnitsUnits taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 96 units of competency, including 33 core and 63 speciality units.
