Learning outcomes
Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Enter, work in and exit confined spaces
Maintain communication with stand-by personnel
Place and use rescue equipment and secure access to the confined space
Use electronic test apparatus to test working atmospheres
Select, wear and care for your personal protective equipment (PPE)

A nationally accredited Statement of Attainment
Confidence to use equipment such as atmospheric monitoring devices before and during the confined space work activity, and applying tagging and lockout
A sound understanding of how to conduct equipment inspections and operational servicing

Licensing
Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this qualification can vary between industry sectors. A white card (or general construction induction card) is required for any worker who needs to access a construction site. Local regulations should also be checked for requirements.
