Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.

Mandatory work placement is not required in this course; however, we strongly recommend you undertake work experience within an aircraft maintenance organisation.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Aeroskills qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 12 Units of competency, including 8 core and 4 speciality units.
