The TAFE NSW Bachelor of Creative Practice enables you to specialise in your arts discipline, choosing from Visual Arts or Music Production and Performance. This course will expand your career options by developing your creative and entrepreneurial skills through a range of creative projects. You will improve your skills in studio time with experienced teachers, while you make valuable connections, enhance your portfolio and strengthen your technical skills.
The Bachelor is a three-year degree (part-time equivalent). Students who have completed a relevant Advanced Diploma or Diploma can fast-track the degree and complete it in 18 months to two years. The fees and duration indicated reflect this fast-tracked delivery.

This course has been accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA)
This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript or
A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript or
A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript
Provide a portfolio of creative pieces related to your chosen specialisation as part of your application.
Students who have completed an Australian nationally recognised Diploma in a related creative field will get credit for the first year of the degree and will require only 2 years (full time) to complete the Bachelor
Students who have completed an Australian nationally recognised Advanced Diploma in related creative field will get credit for 18 months of the degree and will require only 1 1/2 years (full time) to complete the Bachelor
Students who are granted advanced standing based on their completion of a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma will not be required to pay the full course tuition fee advertised below, and will only be required to pay for the subjects they enrol in. This may reduce your tuition fees by up to 50%
Your certificates, transcripts and other entry requirement evidence must be certified through a Justice of the Peace or other authorising officer

This course is made up of core subjects. Successfully complete 24 core subjects to achieve this qualification. Full time students enrol in four subjects each semester – two practical, studio based subjects and two online theory subjects. Part time students enrol in two subjects each semester – one practical, studio based subject and one online theory subject.
