Katrina Troughton is the deputy chairperson for TAFE NSW. She’s known for her commitment to fostering innovation and leadership in the corporate and educational sectors. She is a seasoned leader in the IT industry, with over 25 years of experience.

Katrina Troughton is the vice president and managing director for Adobe ANZ. With a successful career in the IT industry, she has a proven track record of driving high-growth businesses. Katrina has held senior roles such as:
- Managing director of IBM Australia and New Zealand
- General manager for IBM New Zealand, and
- Vice president of data and analytics solutions for IBM Asia Pacific.
Katrina has extensive experience at IBM’s headquarters in New York, where she led a global HR solutions team. This cemented her keen interest in the importance of driving skills transformation.
Her passion is clear in her support for IBM’s P-TECH education program and her role as executive sponsor for IBM’s SkillsBuild Program with Soldier On Australia. This initiative helps defence personnel and veterans re-skill for careers in tech and cyber security.
In her current role at Adobe ANZ, Katrina has led business growth through initiatives aimed at boosting market presence and customer engagement.
Katrina’s leadership style is collaborative and inclusive. She excels in driving change across diverse teams and building high-performance sales organisations. Her ability to motivate and guide teams is key to her success, helping achieve strategic goals and strong business results.

Katrina holds a BSc and BComm, with majors in Physiology, Pharmacology, and Economics from Auckland University.
She has additional diplomas in Health Economics and Direct Marketing, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
