Elizabeth ‘Aunty Beth’ Wright is a proud member of the Gamilaraay nation and an award-winning Aboriginal Cultures and Languages teacher at TAFE NSW Yarradamarra Centre, Dubbo Campus. Aunty Beth credits teaching at TAFE NSW – as well as the inspiration she draws from her culture, family, friends and identity – as allowing her to achieve her goals.
“I wanted to be a lawyer, but now I’ve found my dreaming,” says Aunty Beth. “TAFE NSW gave me the opportunity to do what I do.”

Folau Paul Talbot is a proud Gamilaroi man and has completed multiple studies in Dental Assisting from TAFE NSW. Folau has big plans for his career. He wants to train as a dental prosthetist, own his own dental business and one day be the Director of an Aboriginal Health Centre. “I didn’t complete just one certificate, I completed multiple, so the support was amazing,” Folau says. “TAFE NSW is amazing. Hands down – amazing.”
