    Making content accessible

We ensure the information we publish at TAFE NSW is easy to understand and accessible for people using assistive technology and accessibility features.

We implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at an AA level, as recommended by the NSW Government.

The type of content we make accessible includes:

    • course materials, including presentations, class notes and videos
    • student guides
    • website information
    • online learning platforms, such as:
      – Moodle
      – Student Portal
      – virtual classrooms.

We are committed to continually improving our content in line with web accessibility standards.

    Our use of third-party resources

We may publish links to resources from third-party websites, including:

    • documents
    • videos
    • publications
    • advertisements
    • products.

However, we cannot ensure that all of the third-party websites we link to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at an AA level. TAFE NSW is not affiliated with these websites, so they may not adhere to TAFE NSW accessibility standards.
