Wauchope
TAFE NSW Wauchope sits on the lands of the Birpai people. The town is situated on the banks of the Hastings River. It's referred to as the 'Heart of the Hastings' as it's traditionally a rural service centre for the region.
We have a strong and proud history of contributing to local groups. The region supports local forestry, dairy and beef industries. Stemming from this, horticultural and landscape projects have diverged. Working the land attracts visitors, who get a sense of a regional pastural lifestyle. We now have an emerging arts and tourism industry.
