Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Install and configure hardware and software according to network design and industry standards
Test, secure and finalise network installation and configuration for Small Office or Home Office (SOHO) network
Administer and facilitate user systems, accounts, security and network access
Set up and manage network file system
Provide client access and security features according to requirements
Provide network systems administration and monitor network performance

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
Access to a strong internet connection
An interest in cyber security
Language, literacy and numeracy skills up to a Year 12 level
Access to a virtualisation-capable computer with the following specifications:
Minimum 16GB, recommended 32GB, random-access memory (RAM)
Minimum 500GB solid state drive (SSD)
Modern 3.2 gigahertz (GHz) or higher virtualisation capable central processing unit (CPU)
USB flash drive
Windows 10 or newer operating system
Microsoft Office 365 or newer software
