    Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

    • Critically analyse, manage and solve problems using a range of high-level written, verbal and visual communication techniques

You may be eligible to register to the Tax Practitioners’ Board as a tax agent and tax (financial) adviser.

    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    You must demonstrate that you have achieved one of the following:

    • A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent OR

    • A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent OR

    • A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification OR

    You must also:

    • Attend a pre-admission interview where you may also be asked to complete a short literacy and numeracy task - this helps us to understand how we can support your study success and provide you with any necessary support

    Note:

    • Your certificates, transcripts and other entry requirement evidence must be certified through a Justice of the Peace or other authorising officer

    • Please ensure to attach all evidence when applying for this course to demonstrate the minimum entry requirements and for ease of the enrolment process.

    You do not require an ATAR score for entry into this course.

    Completion of the Accounting major requires you to successfully complete 24 subjects (240 credit points) made up of 22 core subjects and 1 elective from 200 level and 1 elective from 300 level. Completion of the Financial Planning major requires you to successfully complete 24 subjects (240 credit points) made up of 21 core subjects and 2 electives from 200 level and 1 elective from 300 level. Completion of Accounting and Financial Planning double major requires you to successfully complete 28 subjects (280 credit points) made up of 28 core subjects. #NOTE: Below is a list of all possible core and elective subjects offered across the three majors: accounting, financial planning or double major.
