Better understand ecological systems so you can maintain and assist natural regeneration

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
Sun protection for working outdoors
An interest in plants and a passion for contributing to a sustainable world
A willingness to work in varied weather conditions
Full length trousers, long sleeved tops and closed toe non-slip shoes
Gardening gloves and nitrile gloves for chemical applications
An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical tasks like preparing the soil, using machinery, kneeling and planting trees and shrubs

UnitsUnits taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 16 units of competency, including 2 core and 14 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
