That you have achieved a Certificate IV in Information Technology as evidenced by a copy of your certificate or transcript, OR
That you have recent or current work experience in the Information Technology programming field as evidenced by a letter of support from your employer or your resume
Note:
Before your first day of class you must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills test and achieve a score of 4 across the five bands of literacy and 4 across one band of numeracy. This helps us to determine that your skills match the demands of the course, to direct you to an alternative study option or to provide you with the appropriate support for your success. Your teacher will let you know when this must be completed.

UnitsUnits taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Programming) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 20 units of competency, including 6 core and 14 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
