Flexible personal schedule to be able to attend rehearsals or functions outside of class hours
A passion for performing or creating music, either at school or in a self-taught capacity
Enthusiasm or experience in recording or creating sound
An interest in learning the business side of the music industry
Collaboration skills to work in a group, in rehearsals and in studio teams

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Music qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 8 Units of competency, including 3 core and 5 speciality units.
