Test special makeup effects that are applied to performers' skin and scalp

Entry requirements
This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
Successful completion of the Diploma of Screen and Media as evidenced by a copy of your transcript or certificate, or
Equivalent skills, knowledge and experience in a relevant specialisation area such as film and video, radio/content production, animation/games and production design as evidenced by a copy of a resume
The ability to attend an interview prior to enrolment which may include a skills assessment

An aptitude for both technical and creative work
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 12 high school level

UnitsUnits taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 16 units of competency, including 4 core and 12 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
