    • Collect, organise and interpret statistical data

    • Use geometry to draw 2D shapes and construct 3D shapes

    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • A teacher will contact you to make sure this is the right course for you. They will ask you about your reading, writing, maths and language. The teacher will check if they can give you extra help, or if there is a better course for you.

    • Early School leavers under the age of 17 and without a Record of School Achievement (ROSA) must have a written recommendation from their school.

    • A smart phone or computer with audio/video camera or webcam and printer

    • Headset with microphone

    • Internet access

    • The ability to work with others in an adult study environment as well as work independently at times

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Further Study Skills qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 22 units of competency, including 16 core and 6 speciality units.

    Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
