During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
Photo identification such as your license or proof of age card.
NOTE: A photo identification card is needed because to enrol in courses with an RSA or RCG unit it is recommended that you are at least 17 years of age. However, to legally sell or serve alcohol, you must be 18 years of age.

This course includes units with licensing requirements that are regulated by Liquor and Gaming NSW. A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card is required for workers in licensed venues in NSW. Upon successful completion of the Statement of Attainment in Introduction to Hospitality, you will be issued with an interim certificate for your RSA qualification. You will need to present this certificate at Service NSW with 100 points of ID within three months to receive your RSA competency card. It's important to note that while you can undertake these units to become job-ready, you will not be able to serve or sell alcohol until you are 18 years old. Recognition of NSW RSA competency in other jurisdictions Legislative requirements differ across borders. Check with the relevant state or territory authority to see if your NSW RSA and RCG competency is recognised.
