During this course you'll learn to:
Develop industry-specific skills in manual patternmaking for fashion design
Apply the technical aspects of manual patternmaking and garment construction
Use industry-standard tools and techniques used in professional patternmaking
Work with industry-standard blocks (basic template patterns) to create garments
Interpret and apply pattern symbols and markings, such as darts, notches, and seam allowances
Explore basic style adaptations, including adjusting necklines, sleeves, hemlines, and creating different silhouettes
